4 x 12 ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER HYDROPONIC ODOR SCRUBBER

This listing is for a 4" x 12" activated carbon odor scrubber.

Includes a polyester pre-filter and our unique design for easier re-filling.

We only use quality materials in the construction of our odor scrubbers. We offer odor scrubbers that can be used with your inline fans, or you can purchase one with a built-in inline fan.

Pelletized Activated Carbon:

The carbon we use does not come from a retail pet or aquarium store. We order It directly from a carbon manufacturer, our carbon comes in 110 lb bulk containers. This coal based Virgin Activated Carbon is produced specifically for Vapor Phase Applications (Air & Gas Purification). It has not been re-generated or acid washed. You are getting a high quality pelletized carbon for your air purification needs. It has a very low moisture content when we purchase it, then we store it in a climate controlled low humidity environment to help prevent it from absorbing additional moisture which would greatly reduce it's effectiveness and longevity.

Filter Media:

Again this in not from a retail store. Our filter media also comes directly from a reputable filtration manufacturer in 90' rolls. We use 2 types of air filter media in the construction of our odor scrubbers. One is a fine quality tear resistant mesh used in particle filtration (pictured above), while the exterior filter is a 100% polyester filter with a 1" thickness used in various air filtration applications. (pictured below)

Refilling your Odor Scrubber:

This is one area we gave some extra consideration & thought.  There are quite a few odor scrubbers on the market today that are not very user friendly when it comes to replenishing the old carbon with fresh carbon. In most cases you either have to remove the bottom of the scrubber (requiring tools & lots of patience trying to reassemble it) or trying to refill it through a straw sized hole. None of these methods are as effective as our easy-fill design.

We have incorporated a 2" diameter filling hole in the bottom of our unit. Simply pop out the 2" recessed hole plug, empty the expired carbon, then simply pour in the fresh carbon and use a new 2" snap-in plug that we provide with our carbon refill kits, and voila your done!

4" x 12" Odor Scrubber specs:

We offer our odor scrubbers with and without inline fans. If you already have a good quality inline fan, just purchase one of our odor scrubbers and use your own fan. Otherwise we also have odor scrubbers available with inline fans of various CFM's.

All our scrubbers are custom packaged in a plain brown box. 

Odor scrubbers have many useful applications for removal of unwanted indoor odors.
